Answers on the program, medications, and what to expect
Before any treatment, our specialists review your health intake and blood work to identify which of six metabolic phenotypes — insulin resistance, cortisol excess, thyroid dysfunction, hormonal/gonadal imbalance, neurogenic appetite, or gut/microbiome disruption — is driving your weight. This typically happens within your first week, by Day 7, once labs are reviewed. Your care plan is then built around your specific phenotype rather than a generic protocol.
Medication, when prescribed, is only one part of the programme. Depending on your plan, you also get a structured diet chart, a dedicated dietician consult, a lifestyle and fitness expert, an exercise and walking plan, weekly check-ins, and ongoing WhatsApp support. Higher-tier plans add behavioural coaching, a dedicated fitness trainer, and festive eating guidance — all under continuous clinical oversight.
GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide may be prescribed, but only after a full assessment and only where clinically indicated for your phenotype. Medication is discussed and prescribed separately during your first consultation, and is always paired with diet, lifestyle, and fitness guidance — it supports the plan, it doesn't replace it.
Eligibility is determined during your first video consultation, which begins with a quick eligibility check followed by a structured health intake. The programme is designed for adults across India looking for medically supervised weight loss, including those managing PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, fatty liver, prediabetes, or diabetes, as well as post-pregnancy weight management.
Your first week sets the foundation: Day 1 is your consultation and intake, Days 1 to 5 cover your metabolic assessment and blood work at a partner lab, and by Day 7 your phenotype and care plan are finalised. From there, ongoing time commitment depends on your plan — ranging from monthly doctor consults to weekly check-ins with your dietician, lifestyle expert, or fitness trainer.
Your health and personal data is handled in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This means your information is collected only for purposes you've consented to, stored securely, and never shared with third parties without your authorisation. Lab partners and clinical staff access only the data necessary to deliver your care.
GLP-1 receptor agonists (such as semaglutide and tirzepatide) are medications that mimic a natural gut hormone involved in appetite regulation, blood sugar control, and digestion. They help reduce hunger and slow gastric emptying, which supports sustainable calorie reduction alongside diet and lifestyle changes. They are prescribed only when clinically appropriate, based on your medical assessment.
GLP-1 medications are prescription drugs and are used under continuous doctor supervision, with monitoring for suitability and response over time. Whether long-term use is right for you depends on your individual health profile — this is assessed and reviewed by your treating doctor throughout the program.
Like any prescription medication, GLP-1 therapy can have side effects, most commonly related to digestion (such as nausea or changes in appetite), especially when starting out. Your doctor will walk you through what to expect and monitor you closely, adjusting your plan as needed. Always report any side effects to your care team rather than stopping medication on your own.
This varies by individual and is a decision made jointly with your doctor based on your metabolic markers, progress, and risk of weight regain. Some patients transition off medication once lifestyle changes are firmly established; others benefit from continued use. Your treatment plan will address this directly.
Not automatically. Medication is prescribed only when medically indicated, following your doctor's assessment of your health history, lab reports, and metabolic profile. Not every patient requires medication — many achieve results through the metabolic and lifestyle program alone.
GLP-1 medications are typically self-administered as injections at home, following instructions your doctor provides. Your care team will walk you through proper technique and storage during your consultation.
Inteledoc makes starting your weight loss journey simple, safe, and completely doctor-led. Begin by completing a comprehensive online health assessment, where you'll share details about your medical history, current health, weight goals, and lifestyle. A qualified doctor then reviews your information to determine whether GLP-1 treatment is appropriate for you. If you're eligible, you'll receive a personalised weight management plan that may include GLP-1 medication, nutrition guidance, and lifestyle recommendations. Throughout your journey, our clinical team provides regular follow-ups, progress tracking, and treatment adjustments when needed to help you achieve safe, sustainable, and long-term weight loss results.
Inteledoc takes a personalized approach to managing PCOD/PCOS. Our doctors assess your symptoms, medical history, menstrual cycle, lifestyle, and weight-management goals to create an individualized care plan. Depending on your needs, this may include nutrition and lifestyle guidance, physical activity, weight management, and appropriate medical treatment. The goal is to help manage symptoms, support metabolic and hormonal health, and improve your overall well-being through ongoing, evidence-based care.
Metabolonomics measures how your body actually processes fats, sugars, proteins, and energy — rather than relying on generic measures like BMI or one-size-fits-all diet charts. Instead of guessing which diet might work for you, we analyse your specific metabolic markers to understand why your body is gaining weight and how to reverse it safely and sustainably.
No — metabolonomics data informs your doctor's clinical judgment, it doesn't replace it. Your treating doctor interprets your metabolic markers alongside your full medical history to build your plan.
Your health data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, with the same confidentiality standards expected of any medical provider. It's used only to personalize your care.

We've successfully managed 500+ patients with a high clinical success rate. On average, patients see a 10–20% weight loss over 6 months, along with measurable improvements such as 4–6 cm waist reduction, 10–15 mmHg reduction in blood pressure, 15–25% reduction in LDL cholesterol, and significant improvements in sleep and joint pain symptoms.
Unlike a one-off physician visit or self-directed online medication purchase, Inteledoc provides continuous doctor supervision, structured metabolic profiling, and ongoing monitoring throughout your program — not just a prescription.
Treatment plans are based on medical history, lab reports, and continuous monitoring, so your doctor can catch and address any issues, like side effects or abnormal markers, early throughout your program.
