These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Patient," "User") and Teledoc ("Company," "Platform") governing your access to and use of www.teledoc.world and all associated services, including but not limited to teleconsultation, the Teledoc Metabolic Weight Loss Program (TMWLP), GLP-1 therapy, dietary and lifestyle guidance, nutraceutical recommendations, and WhatsApp-based support. Please read these Terms carefully before enrolling. By accessing the website or enrolling in any programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.Acceptance of Terms
Your access to Teledoc services constitutes acceptance of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any programme-specific agreements. If you do not agree, you must not use our services. These Terms supersede any prior oral or written representations. Teledoc reserves the right to amend these Terms (see Clause 12) ; continued use after notification of changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Nature of Services — Telehealth
Teledoc provides telehealth services in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 issued by the Board of Governors in Supersession of the Medical Council of India (MoHFW), and applicable CDSCO regulations. Teledoc services are provided by registered medical practitioners (“RMPs”) holding valid, current MBBS or equivalent qualifications registered with the Medical Council of India or relevant State Medical Council.
Teledoc services constitute medical consultation and clinical support. However, the following limitations apply to the telemedicine context:
- Teleconsultation does not replace the need for in person physical examination in all circumstances. Your treating physician will advise you when in person evaluation is necessary.
- Prescriptions issued via Teledoc are valid only for conditions amenable to telemedicine management under the 2020 Guidelines. Certain medications and conditions are excluded from remote prescribing.
- Emergency medical conditions require in-person emergency care. Teledoc is not an emergency service. If you experience a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately (National Emergency Number: 112).
3. Teledoc Weight Loss Programme — Specific Terms
Teledoc Weight Loss is a structured, multi-component, doctor-supervised weight loss programme based on the proprietary Teledoc Metabolonomics Framework — a system that classifies patients by dominant metabolic phenotype to personalise treatment. The programme integrates metabolonomic assessment, dietary modification (vegetarian-focused), resistance training guidance, nutraceutical supplementation, behavioural support, and pharmacotherapy (GLP-1 therapy) where clinically indicated.
Teledoc Weight Loss Programe is offered across four subscription tiers with different levels of monitoring, support, and pharmacotherapy access. Current pricing is published on www.teledoc.world. All plans include access to a registered physician and WhatsApp-based support. The exact scope of each plan is as described at the time of purchase; Teledoc reserves the right to revise plan contents with 30 days’ prior notice to active subscribers.
Teledoc Weight Loss Programe is a minimum 12-week programme. Outcomes depend on individual patient factors including adherence, metabolic phenotype, co-morbidities, and pharmacotherapy response. While Teledoc clinicians apply evidence-based protocols, no specific weight loss outcome or result can be guaranteed. Individual results will vary. Any outcome projections or averages communicated by Teledoc are illustrative only.
4. GLP-1 Therapy — Specific Terms
GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy (semaglutide, tirzepatide, or equivalent) is a prescription-only medicine under Schedule H of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940. It is prescribed only when clinically indicated following assessment by a registered Teledoc physician. Self-medication or procurement of GLP-1 agents without a valid prescription is illegal and dangerous.
- GLP-1 prescriptions are issued solely at the clinical discretion of your treating Teledoc physician. A paid programme subscription does not automatically entitle you to GLP-1 therapy.
- GLP-1 medications are procured by you directly from Teledoc’s pharmacy partners using the valid prescription. Teledoc does not supply, dispense, or hold inventory of any medicines.
- You must disclose all current medications, known allergies, and prior medical history accurately and completely to your treating physician. Withholding information that affects prescribing safety constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
- You must report any adverse effects, side effects, or unexpected symptoms to your Teledoc physician promptly via WhatsApp. Do not discontinue or alter your dose without medical advice.
- GLP-1 therapy is contraindicated in certain conditions (personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2, current pregnancy or breastfeeding, and others). Your treating physician will assess contraindications during consultation.
- Teledoc accepts no liability for adverse events arising from failure to disclose material health information, self-modification of prescribed doses, or procurement of GLP-1 agents outside of Teledoc’s pharmacy partners.
5. Patient Eligibility & Screening
Teledoc Weight Loss Programe is designed for adults aged 18 to 70 years with a BMI ≥25 kg/ m² (or ≥23 kg/m² with co-morbidities such as type 2 diabetes, PCOS, NAFLD, hypertension, or dyslipidaemia). Eligibility is confirmed by your treating physician during the initial consultation. Teledoc reserves the right to decline enrolment or discontinue programme participation if clinical assessment reveals that telehealth-based management is not appropriate for your condition. Patients with the following conditions require additional in-person evaluation before Teledoc Weight Loss Programe enrolment can proceed: active psychiatric illness requiring hospitalisation; current pregnancy; severe renal impairment (eGFR <30); active malignancy; or acute cardiovascular event within the preceding 3 months.
6. Programme Fees, Payments & Refunds
Programme fees are payable in advance at the time of enrolment. All fees are denominated in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise stated. Current fee schedules are published on www.teledoc.world and are subject to change with 15 days’ notice for new enrolments.
Given the personalised clinical nature of TMWLP, the following refund policy applies:
- Pre-consultation cancellation: Full refund if cancellation is made before the initial consultation is conducted.
- Post-initial consultation: A 50% refund is available within 7 days of the initial consultation if the patient has not received a personalised treatment plan.
- After treatment plan delivery: No refund is available once a personalised metabolonomic report and treatment plan have been delivered.
- Clinical discontinuation: If Teledoc’s physician determines that the programme is clinically unsuitable for you (independently of your choice), a proportionate refund will be offered at Teledoc’s discretion.
- Medication costs: Costs of GLP-1 medications and laboratory investigations are separate from programme fees and are subject to the refund policies of the respective pharmacy and laboratory partners.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@inteledoc.com. Processing time is 7–14 business days from approval.
7. Patient Obligations

8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law:

- Teledoc is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or costs of alternative medical treatment.
- Teledoc is not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party pharmacy partners, laboratory partners, or technology providers, except to the extent caused by Teledoc’s own negligence in selecting or instructing such parties.
